Fr. Hector Kalaluka, OMI, serves as the university’s lead Catholic Chaplain presiding at Mass, sacramental celebrations, and other special events sponsored by UMM for our campus community. He is also a part-time professor in the Religious Studies department teaching environmental theology and ethics.

Fr. Benny Kupangula Lipalata is a member of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. He is currently doing campus ministry at UIW, after a three-year ministry on the White Earth Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota. As an oblate, his ministry does not focus on one specific area but on all the poor of Christ: the physically and spiritually poor.
